Would be a great engine for a Gremlin or Spirit! Won't fit the early American, but it would be a great econo engine for a 64-69 American too -- weighs about the same as the Commanche pickup. Unfortunately the bell and trans will only fit another Jeep four -- or a Chevy four or small V-6. Should be a T-4 trans, or an AX-4. ------------- Date: Thu, 3 Apr 2008 14:14:42 -0700 (PDT) From: JOE FULTON <piper_pa20@xxxxxxxxxxx> It's an AMC 4-cylinder 2wd 1988 model (Sept 87 build) and it has the 4-speed manual tranny. Anybody need any parts? What would the clutch/bellhousing fit? It's really a clean truck. Nice vinyl interior. Yard prices have gone up, so I can't be sure of the parts prices. -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Motors Cars" Magazine (AMC) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AMC.html (free download available!) _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
