OK, so you know how you adjust things like a clutch release
lever, or a parking brake cable adjuster? With two wrenches? Well
scale that up BIG and that's what's holding the driveshaft on
a pre-64 American. Sort of. It's weird, you ain't seen it :-)
There's a small blurry picture of the procedure in the American
TSM for those years.
