As mentioned, early XJs and MJs (possibly YJs?) swap. I've thought about using them on Rambler drum hubs and modding up a caliper bracket for disc braking an earlier rig (or rear disc braking a Model 15/D35) There are weld on brackets available for the M15/D35 housing to mount the calipers. Make sure you keep the backing plates if it has the wider rear drums. To: amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx Message-ID: <475222.59489.qm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 What other cars will Eagle brakes fit? The rotors look like new (and the pads are thick too) on this Eagle I'm parting out. Will the front rotors fit other AMCs as long you you have the correct caliper mounting brackets for the recipient car? Same for the drum brakes in the rear. I have already saved the drums and will get them measured at a local brake shop. The car had 179,000 miles on it so I assume the brakes (even the rears) were gone through once or more since AMC birthed it.
