Hi Guys, My 1965 American glove box also sticks, and the best way that I have found to open it is to apply constant pressure to the door while pushing on the lock mechanism as hard as I can, this ususlly works the first time... None of my AMCs of that era (I have 4 '62s and a couple '59s) work very well. If you figure out a fix, let me know! In the meantime, I usually push the button in, then stick something like a credit card or over the lip of the door, then pull it back as I'm holding the button in with my thumb. - Justin > Message: 2 > Date: Wed, 5 Mar 2008 17:47:58 -0500 > From: "Bruce Griffis" > Subject: [Amc-list] It's time for round tires (another Rambler on the > road)! > To: amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Message-ID: > > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 > > After getting the car running again (thanks to Matt), I wandered over > to Motor Vehicle and registered the car.
