Tom, I had someone contact me a long time ago looking for T-96 cores. It seems there is some sort of industrial application for them so maybe there's a gear hoarder out there. I guess I'm glad I didn't pursue a rebuild of the T-96 that was in my 68 American. I did have it checked out and I was told the only things that were in usable shape were the 2-3 shift fork and the stuff that makes up the shift detents in the case.
