"Should" be a lockup. On the "other" mopar trannies you could tell by looking at the input shaft as they are hollow on lockups. Note: "should" means I think so, but I'm now on day two off of 18+ months of pain meds and what little memory I have left may be completely faulty. Don't you have a TSM? The newest FSJ tsm I have is about 82 so I can't check fer sure. Note: I'm doing better than I expected after all these months of pain and meds. I'm sore, a little feverish. >From what I gather I'll probably feel crappy for the next 4-7 days then I'm free... PT sucks, but I think constant pain is a thing of the past :] -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L, Quadratrc II " Chronic Pain Hurts" -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: Greg Taylor <amundaza@xxxxxxxxx> > Does anyone know if the 1989 TF727 in my '89 Grand Wagoneer has a lock-up or non > lock-up torque converter?
