See if that cylninder shuts up. If it does, and compression is OK, it's likely fine. (Nothing to do with this directly, but when I pulled the head on that junkyard 195.6OHV this past weekend, the head bolts were all over the place -- some tight, some very loose. It's like they weren't torqued, just casually tightened.
