great! if it's not loading up or having other issues, I'd let it run to get it good and hot. Checking trans fluid etc. Getting it to operating temp can help the trans the first time out after a long storage. if, it slips or does not work right, get it fixed asap as hard parts are hard to find for the old trans and you can stiil get seals, clutches, ect; so you don't want to damage any of the hard parts driving a trans that slips. -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L, Quadratrc II " Chronic Pain Hurts" -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: Bruce Griffis <bruce.griffis@xxxxxxxxx> > It starts! > It smokes! > It idles! > It goes forward (slowly, in first)! > It goes backward!
