I'm not so sure I understand why you think a stock plate will break??? I have driven and worked on AMC's since I was 10-12 years old and I can probably count the number of flexplates I have replaced on both hands... Oh, yeah, I'm 46 years old and was a dealer tech from 80-90 at AMC/Jeep dealers. My dad is a mechanic at Tewells in Uniontown, Pa an ex AMC Rambler dealer since 1954. I'm not saying an SFI plate is a bad idea but for street Jeep. saying he definitly needs one is a little extreme. -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L, Quadratrc II " Chronic Pain Hurts" -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: Davis Martin <martin-davis@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > You definitly do NOT want a stock flexplate, It will break! .
