>> Q2) What I REALLY want to know is- Can anyone give me suggestions as >> to which paint/primer brand they like and why? The things is they've **all** gotten so good in the last few years. Paint technology is light years ahead of what it was when our cars were built. The most convenient supplier for most of us is NAPA: www.martinsenour-autopaint.com Most cities have distributors for these: www.sherwin-automotive.com www.performancecoatings.dupont.com/bowstreet5/webengine/dpc/common/Controller www.ditzlerautopaint.com www.rmpaint.com www.basfrefinish.com I used to use Sherwin-Williams a lot just because they were always about half the price of the known brands and they were as good or better as the major brands; but that half price business was back in the early eighties. Don't know where they fall now. Whatever you use, make sure you use proper respiratory precautions. The technology has gotten better in function but it's also very deadly stuff. Do you have an HVLP setup? http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q=high+volume+low+pressure+automotive+sprayer -- Marc _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
