[Amc-list] Wish List for 290 v8

Has anyone fitted electronic ignition or even fuel injection to 290 v8?
Also wondering if anyone's done anything with remote oil filters or oil
coolers.  My car (68 290 Rebel SST) is stock but because the filter would be
where the steering box is, it's fitted with a stock remote filter.  Last
week one of the rubber pipes decided 40 years was enough and fell apart.  My
chances of finding stock replacements must be slim and so I was thinking
about going the AN8 lines route or similar - just wondering if anyone's
already done something similar.
