Well, it wouldn't meet US crash standards and not likely Europe or Japan, but for the target market (third world developing nations) it's a good thing. The Mercedes "Smart" car is about the same size, but for the price I doubt it's that strongly built. I bet it's more like a golf cart with an enclosed body than anything else. Even if it could be imported (for off-road use... hmmm... air conditioned all-weather golf cart!), it would cost twice as much by the time it got into consumer hands here, maybe more!
