Frank said he had made a dual manifold, so You should be able to do much the same. A simple plate drilled and machined for injectors angled as close to the intake ports as you can get them. Or bungs welded to that plate or an original manifold. Your working with a delco dist so getting it set up for efi should not be too big a deal. The realy lowbuck approach would be if the damper setup from a 4.0L could be made to work, Using it you could then approach it as if you were injecting a 4.0L. I laid out machining a v-belt damper for the CPS to work with H.O 91-95 injection. You could do the same to a 196 damper easily. Now getting the dist stuff to fit may stall you. That is needed to fire the injectors on an HO system. I'd expect with your computer background megasquirt would be the way to go. RM, intrigues me to wonder how well a simple OEM system could be adapted in! adding the turbo in would be way cool. I know you like old school, but an injected turbo charged 196, well, I'd sure like to see it! I see my orthpedic surgeoun this afternoon. I am hoping to get all the gory details as I am anxious to know what to expect for recovery times. That Hesco Supercharger may still be available to... I've also located another builder that is offering S/C kits that clear XJ hoods for $3499 base price without fuel system equipment. I may also consider a turbo setup at some point, though the visual of the supercharger appeals to me more. -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L, Quadratrc II " Chronic Pain Hurts" -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: Tom Jennings <tomj@xxxxxxx> > It just occurred to me it would be really easy!
