Ed states he's going thru covers as well - the early 4.0 has a 'cam walk' adjustment which should be made to work on the 258 as this is my guesstimate as to chain / cam cover premature wear. I had a oil slinger once, it was a Hornet that had a leaky oil pan gasket, sort of like the Hornet Exxon Valdez. Anyways, if anyone can help these folks quit going thru timing chaing covers they would appreciate it, thanks in advance to all who may reply, be sure to copy your reply directly to them also.
