It might be the motor but more likely the wiring at the hinge of the gate has broken. (I've fixed several and converted 2 to manual crank setup)

My wagoneers tailgate window is dead. I dread dealing with it. I'd bet a lot of folks would buy the panel door set-up but it would be killer expensive to repro it.
