AMC (in 1970 at least) used a 10ohm full - 75 ohm
empty fuel gauge sender.   Ford used a sender with the
same range full/empty for the late 60s Mustangs.  You
should be able to buy a Mustang fuel sender from any
classic Mustang parts dealer and it should work.
