I forgot what part of the country you're in, but 2.72 M20 are VERY common in '80 up FSJs (probably 1/2 the 6 cyls with auto got it till '88) and people are pretty much throwing those diffs away. (Don't know what's in my '83 J10 yet, but with a factory 5 speed it's probably 3.31, 3.54 or 3.73. I'm swapping the full float 8 lug D60 I had in my '73 J4000 into it as I haul HEAVY loads! ) Jim Blair, Lynnwood, WA '87 Comanche, '83 Jeep J10, '84 Jeep J10 From: "Armand Eshleman" <aje1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [Amc-list] Twin Grip Carrier To: "AMC/Rambler owners, drivers and fans." <amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Message-ID: <001601c818f5$67f4a6c0$6601a8c0@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" When you guys are looking for a twingrip carrier for retired Bob, keep your eyes open for a 2.72 ring and pinion set for me. I already have the twin grip carrier, just need the R & P and I'm in business. Armand _________________________________________________________________ Climb to the top of the charts!
