Yeah, you can use "gels", so-called, used in theatre lighting. They come in a huge color variety, preasonably cheap ($5? sheet, 24 x 24), and they're heat proof (meant to run in front of hot lamps). Pickin the correct color would be tough without gettin to look at them, depending on how picky you are, but I've bought 'em from eBay for various projects. There's definitely the correct color out there!
