" Performance Clutch has parts numbers (yours, above) for the 8's, 9's, and " 10's. i recall finding them at partsamerica.com, when i searched on the perfection part numbers. " Has anyone on this list actually personally installed the 10" clutch with " the socket head bolts as suggested? Does it really fit? And what does it do " to pedal effort? The 195.6OHV doesn't really need a strong clutch! a stock 196 would not really need a stronger clutch, but a bigger disk will last longer... i put a conventional 10" pp [early '70s amc part, not knowing about the mopar then] in my '66 american in the early '90s and pedal pressure was virtually unaffected. " Currently it takes TWO FINGERS to operate... nice... and I still remember " the monster clutch that was in my 69 S/C Rambler... no thanks! that was a monster motor. this pp was hd for the slant but stock for the 273, mopar's smallest v8; it would not have an outrageous pressure. ________________________________________________________________________ Andrew Hay the genius nature internet rambler is to see what all have seen adh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and think what none thought _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
