From: Keith Evenson Subject: [Amc-list] AMX not firing! I am looking for advice on why my 68 AMX may not be starting. If I leave it sit for 4 - 5 days I have to pour gas in the carb to get it to fire. It does not take much but if I don't put any gas in the carb it just cranks over without firing. I have only had it for about a month so I don't know too much about it. It does start very well as long as I start it every day or two. It has the original AFB carb but the guy I got it from said it had been recently rebuilt. Good Luck, Keith <> Had my GTO with the stock '71 400cu.in. / carb run this on me one summer on Long Beach Island - We were booked into Joe Pop's Shore Bar - opening for Chubby Checker - spun the GTO over - and over - and dumped gas in the carb - fired / died - called my K&G Speed Associates in Haverstown Pa. - they UPS'd out a new Holley that day......... ran like a Swiss Watch. -- =Bt= milnersXcoupe -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
