When i was putting my Marlin back on the road, it appeard the clock was toast. I took the clock workings out of the box, and cut a thick piece of plexiglass to fit the clock face area. I cut small piece of black vinyl (as used in vehicle graphics and signs) with the Marlin script logo, and put it on the face of the plastic. I painted the back of the plastic with an aqual colored paint. Putting the whole thing back, just as a clock would mount, and replacing the bulb, at night, the Marlin logo lights up where the dead clock once lived! Some day I'll get a clock, but in the mean time, this actually looks stock, and adds a nice touch at night with the lights on. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
