> still looking for a fuel tank sending unit for my 65. If you still ahve the ruined one, you might be able to modify "any old" AMC sender to match it... Take the mangled one and straighten it out as best you can. As far as I know, the tank mount part is the same for all. They all have one wire, all are about 9 ohms full to 73 ohms empty. They all use the same sock filter or close enough. The pickup tube is just 3/8" or is that 5/16" steel. Bend your own, splice and brace it. The float rod is just steel wire. Final adjustments could be made by fit in the tank. It's not really that critical. There's jsut the tube and the rod to bend. Put 'em side by side and I bet you could duplicate it in a few hours. It might look funny, but no one crawls inside a tank to see! _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
