Let me know when you want to do that. Somewhere in the mess I used to call a shed are a couple of warranty pull 1995 Mistu 2.0L turbos. They came from low mile cars that the owners said were "noisy" My buddy who pulled them said the cars made the same noise after new ones were installed! One should be about the right size for a low rpm 196 :] Then there is the problem of finding them. The thing I noted when I got them is that while he thought they both came from the same year/body they do not match. As far as Ratios, sizes, builder etc; I don't know they have been down there for yeasr now... I was thinking of doing dual turbos on a 4.0L with them. I'm not thinking of doing any such thing any longer. I'm going to start thinning out many years worth of associated crap, good or bad... -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 " I was different before people dared to be different" -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: "Jim Boone" <fljab@xxxxxxxxxxx> > > PS; I'd still like to do a turbo'd 195.6 with a 5 sp in a '64/5 American!! > Still wouldn't get BIG power, but if you did it right, taking into account > the low rpm charector of this engine and sized the turbo accordingly, plus > be resourceful with your fabrication skills, I think it would make a unique > and fun engine/combo... > > _________________________________________________________________ > Can you find the hidden words?
