as far as restoring seatbelts, well don't know about the frayed part, but i used that dye that you see all your life at the grocery and wonder can there still be that many tyedye hippies around? put the dye in a bucket and put the seat belts in for awhile and they look mahvlous! eddie - loved the ageometer! You can also have your existing belts re-webbed (restored) by a company called Snakoyl (I'm not sure of the spelling but it's some clever modification of snake oil.). Faded, tired, or frayed seat belts are a fairly common problem for folks restoring a car, so I'm confident you can find a source for new belts or refurbishment.
