Depends on the rest of the car, 1 bbl or 2bbl? Gears? Trans? I'd suspect that with a cam of that mild lift you will not hurt anything and see a mild improvement. The danger with cam swapping is the temptation to go too large. This is one case where bigger is not better! especially with a six, too much cam kills the bottom end torque.
