Re: [Amc-list] Anyone shop Harbor Freight?

I bought a Milwaukee right angle drill & sawzall from harbor many (15?) yrs
ago, still work great, but I would agree,
I was always suspicious of the Chinese electrical stuff. Sooner or later
they are going to have to improve just like
the Japanese did in the late 70s, and early 80s. You can see the uprising
occurring already, Americans are getting pissed
at the Chinese for not keeping lead out of children's toys!!!!!!
Do not buy Chinese hand tools, my experience has been they don't fit SAE
fasteners very well if at all..............too loose or too tight.

It's been so crappy here lately that my deck lid refinishing project had to
be put on hold. I had to take the deck lid into the house to keep it out of
the high humidity. It started raining and hasn't quit...........

My 304 began running rough lately, I'm thinking it's the distributor cap or
the wires, maybe the dang crappy power valve in that
stupid Motorcraft 2bbl or both somewhat.......every now and then I hear this
sharp crack sound like a spark jumping, I have to get the car out after dark
and lift the hood to verify its a bad cap or wires..........throttle
response really sucks too........ power valve? no, maybe accelerator pump,
stumbles at mid throttle acceleration, like a missfire, spark jumping around
crazy when under more power demand, heck I wish it would quit raining so I
could figure this crap out.......
I should just convert to electronic ignition.......... and injection.......
