It could be wonderful place in spots as we didn't get to the supposedly better northern and west coast areas. My beef is with the total mess surounding the south point area. It is touted as the southern most point in the U.S. and a spot to see. Well it could and should be, but the place is a junkyard... No maintenance of any sort in years, abondened vehicles and appliances everywhere. The oldest section of wind farm is down and no signs of it being repaired. The web notes that new turbines were delivered for it in August 2006, but no sign of any progress in their installation if it is true. Don't get me wrong, I loved our trip. I am saddened by the neglect of the area. We will likely return in a few years to cover more areas, after we get the boys off of our payroll!!! -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 " I was different before people dared to be different" -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: "Ross Guistino" <rossg@xxxxxxxxx> > Sorry to hear you didn't see any AMCs.
