[Amc-list] Sunday drives

i did a real nice and cheap disk brake conversion on
my 62 classic. when i get my 65 going, im going to do
the same thing to it. i built my own brackets. i can
do the same for you. either make a set for you if you
like, or provide you with the templates i used. the
brackets are to mount late model mustang PBR dual
piston calipers on 11.5" disks. it took a lot of time
to trial and error the brackets, but once i figured it
out, it was real easy. car stops GREAT now. i had an
issue of figuring out the right master cylinder
because i changed mine also. i went the wrong way with
it. i got one that was smaller not bigger. but anyway.
i think i spent $200 total for my entire disk brake
set up. you can view pics of the assembly proccess at
www.picasaweb.google.com/das24rules

if you are interested, let me know. i would be glad to
help. this is suposed to be able to fit over 15" steel
wheels. i have not tried to put mine on over them. i
now have 17" 2005 mustang bullit wheels. i supose i
could check it out to make sure they fit. i have only
been told 15" steelies will fit.
