A quick glance at the 63 Classic/Ambo TSM says YES -- cast iron and AL engines used exactly the same springs, light and HD. I seem to recall that there's only about 80 pounds difference between the two. It seems most unlikely a dealer swapping in a service replacement motor would change the springs.
