Only thing I can think of is easy swappability for a non O/D car that I may want to take a road trip in. Not that I can swap 9" pigs in my current condition anyway, let alone build the D#^*ed thing! I'm pretty sure the American is going to end up with a 9" in it too. The idea of being able to swap pigs from car to car in need should arise and the ease of getting such parts with all the circle track guys using them, just seems to be pretty much a no brainer. I can get a custom housing and axles for less then $700. Talking good summers or Moser axles and I can end up with the correct wdth. I've got till August 6th of working every evening, days included except Saturday when I'm off till 6:00.
