[Amc-list] Electric Window motors

I've recently installed 2 A1 Cardone 42-48 rebuilt window motors.  First 
one was DEAD.  Second one won't put the window up, even after adjusting 
the track assembly in the door.

Does anyone have a good source for NEW motors?  I called the dealer and 
they are No Longer Available.  I can see they are available for $110 at 
www.teamgrandwagoneer.com ... anyone know if they're available elsewhere 
any cheaper?

I'd say call around to Electric Motor Repair shops.

It's either the brushes - the bearings - or it cooked
a winding / bearing.

Any of these is straight forward - parts are not the 
problem usually.

Who did AMC / MoPar source these from - as the mix
shouldn't be that great - meaning Ford / GM should
have the similar motor.

This is one area a cross reference would prove invaluable.
