There's no such thing as a Rambler American.

It's an AMC American. If you're lucky.

Or so the aftermarket universally assumes now. Could make it hard to
find parts!

I often give counter people a hard time by insisting "it's a Rambler
Classic". When I eventually give up and suggest "AMC", I ask them, "Do
you look for Nova under GMC or Chevrolet?"

Fruitless, fruitless.
