I have a 1969 Ambassador that was a 6cylinder 3 speed car. I will have the pedals and the floor shift column from a matador coupe. I have the bell housing from a rebel machine and the z bar. not sure on the firewall rod though. I also have the crossmember mount and a rebel machine drive shaft. not sure if it is the same length though. You would need to find the peice that bolts to the tranny for the Z bar and the adjustment rod. Price would be $250.00 plus shipping. To: mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx Message-ID: <BAY144-F3997E1EE9C23CA4424FC95DD040@xxxxxxx> Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed Just wondering and a bit of dreaming. Would it be possible to put a 4-speed trans in the 75 Matador Wagon? The auto trans is bleeding a lot and the bench rebuild looks around $650. Would there be pedel sets that would bolt in and linkage and such for this big monster? I believe that the trans may not be a problem as it bolts up to the bell housing and probably an adjustment for the drive shaft length? Anything else needed to know, IF, this could really be done?
