Hope you get it back, at least in reasonably good condition. Just over a month ago I bought a minivan and less than 2 weeks later it got stolen and I got it back 4 days later with the transmission trashed. It also had 3 parking tickets, which the officer told me would be cleared since the vehicle had been stolen. Now, 3 weeks later, I am fighting to get the tickets cleared because they are now trying to charge me $40 per ticket (increased from $15 per ticket). I just got the overdue notices friday. They told me when I called them that I have to send them a copy of the police report "and the judge will consider it". I requested a copy of the report and was told "we'll mail it to you in 90 days". Well, that's nice. If I don't pay the fines in 10 days they will add additional penalties and may turn it over to a collection agency.
That's bureaucracy for you.
