Saw a bit on one of Spikes shows about removing zinx plating with muratic acid.
I don't know if it actually works or would work in this case since you can't soak the tank in it the way they recomended.
Just a intersting note I though I'd pass along.
Nothing like sitting backstage during "Sweet Charity" play.
