The Chebbies cheaper line is bull that has been floating down since the 70's.
Back when it was cheaper to build a Chebbie.
Now, it is not much cheaper, maybe a little, then you quickly spend money in swap stuff.
Then if you don't get lost in the swap and sell the whole project at a loss, you get both sides saying, "What a Chevy? Why'd you do that"!!!
I've seen a few nicely done swaps, The only ones I found interesting are the off the wall ones.
You know, Cad engine, Buicks, Pontiacs, an OLD hemi, Maybe even a 4.7 or the new hemi, anything twisted and off the wall appeals to me!
SBC=BORING!!!
Why else would I want to stuff a big old Gen I 327 in a 64 American!!!
