Tom...I considered this also. I only put about 2 gallons of gas in the tank. So what was in there wasn't diluted much. Also, wow; you ought to see the outside of the carb now. After pouring so much sea foam down its throat; it dissolved a bunch that was in it too and seeped out around and through the gaskets and ran down all over the manifold...man that stuff looks just like burnt molasses. Carb needed rebuilt anyhow; but it sure does give one a perspective of what must have been going on in the combustion chambers. Wonder if it even might have damaged the fuel pump...will know that soon. I'm not taking any chances though, that tank is coming out. I thought about taking a bore scope home from work to look down the filler neck once I get what little fuel is left in there; but after all this mess, I'm not taking that chance.
