Performance Friction pads are also very good (stop great, quite as long as you follow the break in procedure, no dusting problems). I had a set on my 96 Ram go over 70,000 miles. The biggest thing I liked about them was they worked better with a little heat in them which was really nice when towing or hauling. They are stone quiet, not a peep, squeak or rattle. Very minimal dust too, someone said they will cause excessive rotor wear, too which I say, OK, I'll replace the rotors when they wear out. > To me, there is nothing worse that ill working, squeaking, noisy brakes. These work great, best I have found in years. Up till now I always paid out the nose for factory shoes and pads on all my vehicles.
