I got up at 5:40 this morning and drove 2 hours to a Parts-A-Rama at Butler County, Pa fairgrounds.
Stood right there and looked at a 2001 XJ fule tank. It looked too deep to be an easy swap, but none-the-less I'm kicking myself for not picking it up To "play with".
The guy had no prices posted, but the stuff he sold while I was standing there wnet dirt cheap.
Filler neck placement is no issue on mine as I trunk fill, so I can move the cap whereever.
I'd love to get the pump in the tank to reduce noise levels in the interior.
Oh, well maybe next year ! :]
Is it just me or are the swaps getting smaller as time goes on?
