Apartness, The result of partially filling an old crusty fuel tank with gasoline and tossing a match in it. Apartness. Seriously my brother had his 66 Marlins tank done at the fuel tank place located in the Greensburg, Pa area, they did the one for the charity AMX as well [ I lined that deal up]. I haven't heard anything bad about the AMX's tank. I know for a fact that my brothers tanks was a mess and it is holding up very well and he is quite happy with it. The only drawback is he had to add a ground wire to the sending unit as the coated tank would not ground. If you decide to spend the money, I would suggest letting the same place do your tank as they stepped up and did the AMX's tank for free.... -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 " I was different before people dared to be different" -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: Tom Jennings <tomj@xxxxxxx> > On Fri, 2007-06-15 at 09:27 -0400, Graham, George W (GE Infra, Energy) > wrote: > > I just had the tank from one of my Jensens done by one of the Gas Tank > > Renu places, and was very pleased. > > Yeah, just called 'em, they said that of course they can't really tell > until they see it (eg. your experiences) that for light rust and > gas-varnish, $300 average. > > > _______________________________________________ > Amc-list mailing list > Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx > http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
