So what kind of reinforcement would need to be done so I would not  
have trouble with the body twisting?

Install a 6 or 8 point roll cage - that with some
tube tie ins from the front subframe to a firewall
cross tube brace - then tubes from the cross brace
down past the interior kick panels to floor plates.

Tie the floor plates via under floor to the roll cage.


Sounds like alot - but it isn't - use a tube cutter 
and a 'notcher - tack it together - bring to a welder
and have them finish the welds.
