Haven't been posting, been out of town. I've never done a core deal from Rockauto due to costs. However I've always been very satisfied with their customer service. I've had several questions, a cost issue and a wrong part shipped. They have always gone above the call of duty to maker things right. Don't read the line about questions and wrong parts to say I've had major problems. I've only had one part wrong in all my dealings. They sent a new one, free before recieveing the worng return, no second part was ever charged to me either. usually a co. charges then refunds and screws everything up, not Rockauto. The cost issue was an overprice on one of their listings, when I questioned it they went to their buyer and he found they were being overcharged!!! They fixed the overprice and offered me a further 10% discount on top of it for pointing out the problem! -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 " I was different before people dared to be different" -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: "Jamie Smith" <oconner51@xxxxxxxxxxx> > Has anyone bought anything from rockauto where there was a core charge? did you > have any problems returning your core and getting your core charge back? > > I need to buy some cv shafts, motor mounts and a transmission mount for my 92 > dodge caravan and I have compared Napa, Autozone, Schucks and Rockauto and, even > with shipping, Rockauto is cheaper by about $50 IF I get my core fee back. > Otherwise Schucks is cheaper followed by Autozone.
