It might, but as near as I can tell PRO does not make that specific shifter. All that I can find don't show the s10 as a shifter. All the S10 tailhousings I've seen with Pro shifters bolted to them don't show a handle. Leading me to believe that they just install the Camaro shifter on the S10 tailhousing and the handle choice is up to the end user. The Pro 5.0 has the best comments from many different sites as to function. The only other real shifter choice seems to be Hurst for the S10. All the other shifters for S10 are basic bling with no stops and no appeal. The other good shifters for Camaros seem to have the tilt angle built into the shifter itself instead of the handle making them poor choices for the S10/AMC level tailhousing. I don't buy much new stuff, RM syndrome, no known cure. This is one area I don't want to shave any corners. -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 " I was different before people dared to be different" -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: adh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (Sandwich Maker) > " From: Wrambler242@xxxxxxxxxxx > " > " I am about to buy a PRO 5.0 shifter for the Rambler. > " The one I'm looking at comes with an angle cut straight shift handle for 82-93 > " Camaro. > " Needless to say, that ain't going to cut it. > " [] > " I'm hoping to get it to appear to be an older original shifter. > > i wonder if an s10 handle would do the job? > ________________________________________________________________________ > Andrew Hay the genius nature > internet rambler is to see what all have seen > adh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and think what none thought > _______________________________________________ > Amc-list mailing list > Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx > http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
