Anybody know how many of the old foundries weren't "toxic"? I betting the number would be somewhere around ZERO. We have an old Sterling Faucett plant here in the area. They cleaned it up. Then they capped the whole area with 4-6" black top. Now it is ready for commercial use only. No homes may ever be built on that ground. Not that any sane person would want to!!! -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: "ROSS BLAIR" <bigbad69@xxxxxxxxx> > Holmes Foundry Ltd., Sarnia Ontario > > ------------------- > Anyone remember the name of that toxic pit of a foundry that AMC owned, I > believe it was in Canada? > mike > ------------------- > > > > Ross Blair > 69 BBO Javelin 390 > Ottawa, Ont. > > = > Grand Canyon Helicopter Tours > Fly from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon National Park.
