Got a picture? If so send it to me. I can tell you instantly if it is indeed an AMC T series trans. It will have a shifter bolt pattern square and the same as S-10 and 82-92 Camaro mounted mid ways back the tailshaft housing. It will also use the large Chrysler style speedo adapter and take a chrylser 904 styl output yoke. I'll also buy it from you if you want to sell it. Even better if it's just a core with trashed gears. I've been looking for a core to use for a while now... I hate to tear up my mint functioning one for the tailshaft and shifter... But that looks like it's going to be necessary to get what I want in the American. -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: teamamc <teamamc@xxxxxxxxxxx> > I have been checking the tranny ID sites that were suggested. > > I cannot confirm this is an AMC 5spd. > > I was told it was removed from an 82 Spirit. > > > > > > > > > > -Transmission Housing Markings and Casting #'s : Ford RF-D9ZR-7222-AA > followed by 13-32-097-902 > > > > -Tail Shaft Housing Markings and Casting #'s : Borg-Warner 13-40-066-90 > > > > -Metal Tag #'s (attached to tail shaft housing mounting bolt) : SF3239617 B > 12 1 followed by 13-32-034 > > > > Thanks > > Bryan > > > > > No virus found in this outgoing message. > Checked by AVG Free Edition. > Version: 7.5.467 / Virus Database: 269.6.8/797 - Release Date: 5/10/2007 > 5:10 PM > > -------------- next part -------------- > An HTML attachment was scrubbed... > URL: > http://www.amc-list.com/pipermail/amc-list/attachments/20070511/5bacde8b/attachm > ent.htm > _______________________________________________ > Amc-list mailing list > Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx > http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
