It's possible it's useable, but it's more likely just an "for informational use only" item. I bought it off eBay and knew it had a crack in it. When it arrived it was in fact much worse then described. The lower starter bolt area is pushed up towards the crank centerline. It could maybe be fixed, maybe not.
