I purchased a lowering block kit off the shelf for my '70 Javelin at the
local Autozone for less than $30. Worked with no issues, in fact, the
u-bolts were too long and I had to shorten them. Plus, if you get it home
and it does not quite fit, you can easily return it.

I want to lower the rear of my 70 Jav 2 inches. I can not seem to find a
lowering block kit that will fit, or that provides enough information to
get the right fit for sure. I believe I need a 2.5" x 4" x 2" block with a
1/2" pin/hole, and 8" x 1/2" x 2.5"ID U-bolts. Anyone have a lead on
something they ordered that they know worked?
