Mark, yours is so darn clean under the hood compared to mine that I'm envious! But one reason why is obvious -- you have a 91+ HO system whereas I have a Renix. I think I see another reason too. There is no cluster of wires running across your firewall like there is in the Jeep. Looks like you ran the harness under the firewall to spring tower braces instead. That's a neat idea, and cleans things up, but would be near impossible with the Renix since the computer is inside the passenger compartment and the main wiring cluster has to go inside. The Classic/Ambo has tubular braces that are removeable as well. They wouldn't hide the wiring like the stamped American braces. At first I thought maybe you ran the wiring behind the firewall then back through it in the center and right sides. That would have been a lot of work, so I looked closer (enlarged the pic) and can just see the straps holding the wiring harness up and can just see the harness. Wish I could have done something like that! -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Motors Cars" Magazine (AMC) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AMC.html (free download available!) _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
