That's funny, I've had better luck with US Mail than UPS. But then that's with small to medium sized packages, nothing as large as a radiator. UPS has got to be the worst in my book. Their answer is to make the shipper double box and overpack. That way it costs more to ship and they can toss it around like a basketball. I tried to ship a notebook computer back for repairs in the container the seller (a refurb company) sent it -- via UPS -- in. UPS wouldn't take it. Had to be double boxed with 2" of packing peanuts AROUND the box the computer was shipped in. Cost me twice as much to ship, plus the extra packaging. I try to ship Fed-Ex if it's a large item now. They seem to handle the packages with better care instead of having customers pack so it can be drop kicked from truck to truck. I don't expect more than REASONABLE care, but you can't expect that any more! _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
