Most anyone with electric experience knows to ditch the converter. Straight drive to the wheel is best with the proper motor. To keep things driveable with the hills around here I would use a standard trans. The neat thign there is that you don't need the clutch to takeoff, can't stall an electric! For in town driving you just pick the range that works best all around and press the go pedal when the light turns. FWIW, It will likely take me way to long to approach this project. Too many things in the way to even try to take on another right now. -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: adh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (Sandwich Maker) > " From: "Swygert, Francis G MSgt 436 CES/CECM" <Francis.Swygert3@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > " > " The Concord and Pacer were both used for electric conversions in the > " late 70s.
